Type of a scam Online Purchase
Clicked on a Facebook ad for LLBean Outlet Store. Made purchase by entering credit card information. Even though I did not use Paypal for my purchase, I received a bogus email from Paypal, stating that I had authorized a payment to [email protected] The next day I received another bogus email from Paypal containing a tracking number. I went to the USPS site and entered in the tracking number and it showed that "the" package was delivered on July 8, 2020, a full two-weeks before I even placed the order.
