I was having a router problem and could not connect to the website Linksyssmartwifi.com. I found another site, ‘Linksyssmartwifi.us’, that had a chat feature which I used. I was told a support person would call me to assist with problem. The website looks like an official Linksys site. I thought I was dealing with Linksys. The support person called and set up a remote session and told me there was a software problem that could be fixed if I signed up for a 1 year support contract for $199 or a 2 year contract for $299. I declined and ended the session. I resolved the problem myself by turning the router off/on.
