Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I received 2 seperate envelopes with identical letters and both had a check in the amount of $3890.00. I am to go to my bank & cash these checks then proceed to WalMart to purchase gift cards to return the money to this person. Almost sounds like money laundering. Very uncomfortable.
