Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I had been shopping for a personal loan and was contacted by LOANRAFT Finance and was told I had been approved for a loan. They then informed me I had to sign paperwork and send them a cashier’s check and money order for $*** and then the loan would be deposited within 24 hours. They then came back the next day and said I had to overnight them a cashier’s check or money order in the amount of $*** for closing cost and then the money would be deposited in 24 hours. After we did that, the next day (Saturday, September 29, 2019) I was unable to reach them and the phone number would either ring twice and go dead or just give a busy signal or stated that the call could not go through. Luckily we realized in time to have the overnight package rerouted to us and it will hopefully be returned to us tomorrow or Monday. DO NOT trust them or send them any information and definitely no money.
