Type of a scam Romance
I was contacted by a man who used the name Lawrence Goodrich. Typical romance scheme. After a couple of phone calls professed his love, talked of a future, reportedly had traveled a lot and had a job installing security systems in foreign countries and made a lot of money. Quit his job to "start our future together" but had left the US in a hurry without his credit cards and needed money to get home to the tune of 3,200. which he could pay back as soon as he got back. His speech pattern was altered which he attributed to an auto accident that had resulted in "parasody'(?)
