Called telling me they can forgive my student loans, although they asked for an upfront payment.

This person called to tell me about a student loan forgiveness program. I asked him who he worked for and he said the federal government. When I asked what agency, he skirted around the question. Then stated saying, what you don’t believe me. I told him no. He began to ask me, don’t you use this email and stated my email, I did not reply. Why won’t you let me help you with your student loans, I said that I was not interested. He kept pressing me for more information and I asked him to remove me from his calling list. I must say though that in the last month, these people have been calling 4-6 times per week. Luckily, I know this is a scam but there may be other who may not. One gentleman last week, asked me to give him my password into Navient so he can "verify" what I owe. Of course, I declined but again, there may be others that may belive this.
