Clicked on ad I saw on Facebook for mystery shoppers. I got "accepted" and several days later was assigned my first job. Got a priority delivery that included a check and instruction sheet. Mail was sent from Georgia, phone number is in Escondido, CA and business address is in Maryland. All this added up to NO GOOD. I did a scam search and found similar circumstances with different contacts and business name but everything else the same. Cashier check was from Twin Star Credit Union in the amount of $2,965.49. I was instructed to deposit check and then text number stating CHECK DEPOSITED. When funds showed in account I was to text SUM IS READY. After these steps were completed I would receive my first business to evaluate.
