Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
A woman, Lori, came into our business, *** Automotive Repair Service LLC, in ***, OK. She had a company called L’Oreal Media & Investments that made signs, banners, shirts, etc. She said she was going to make mugs and shirts for the local restaurant, I Smell Bacon, too. My husband called I Smell Bacon and confirmed that. For some dumb reason, my husband did not do anymore research and paid her in FULL for shirts and mugs in the amount of $423. I Smell Bacon did get some mugs and one shirt for each employee. We have not received our shirts. We contacted her for a refund, but have not received anything. Today, I have done some research and found that since then she has changed her phone number and website. She has several names she goes by which I have a list if you would like it. I have several pictures of her too. I have found on Facebook she has scammed SEVERAL businesses, people, and even churches.
