Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Bo Barnett, the owner, of KB Custom Pools LLC sent me an UNSOLICITED message via LinkedIn. He was disseminating check fraud information throughout LinkedIn. I then notified LinkedIn.com and they deleted his account. This was his message to me as I just cut and pasted it below for you all.
"On Apr 13, Bo Barnett said the following:
Hi, I wish to share this amazing vacancy with you. See below for job description & application,copy the link and paste on your browser apply within if interested
http://soproges.com/jobs2/view.html
It was a great experience for me. You may try it out. Applicants are needed ASAP."
After I received the check in the mail I contacted Mr. Barnett, and he told me he hoped my money was in South Africa and proceeded to say he was sleeping with my mother and he was my biological father. I was smart enough not to cash this fake check but there are thousands of unsuspecting people who would have. The purpose of this report is to notify the public of his business practices so you are a well informed consumer. Mr. Barnett gives all the honest pool builders and contractors in Texas a bad reputation.
