Found an ad online at craigslist for a puppy in my area and it only asked for $300 rehoming fee. Paid the person $300 thru Western Union. The dog gets sent to the “shipper”. They then ask for $550 for a crate that is refundable once the dog gets here. After paying the $550, they then ask for $1250 for insurance and dr fees. At that point, we realize it was a scam.
