He paid my lien off of my Jeep Wrangler with a stolen checking account out of Los Angeles. Was very close to turning over the title but something was not right.
I pulled out of the deal after my bank did a rush to see if funds were valid. Turns out check was fraudulent.
I did get hit with bank check fees for insufficient funds.
