Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
Email was received with Owners name, but upon a closer look the email address contained a extra l.
The email had an attached Invoice and the email body requested payment to be sent today for Professional and Admin services, it’s a business development project.
The Scammer sent multiple follow up emails pressing for payment confirmation.
Luckily we spoke with the owner personally and he knew nothing about the request, which prompted us to look closer and we discovered the extra letter in the email address.
