locked browser, appear to be MS support numbers and references to computer type support HP. All I needed to do was open explorer or similar and close/kill that window session I would learn later. I called, allowed access to tech supposedly to fix. Kept trying to get me to agree to service contract, but with my insistence of no contract for service I was "allowed" to pay for the unlock with a cashier check (my preference the following Monday). Occasional calls over the years to check my computer, but I refused until eventually the calls stopped. After years, I get email about auto renewal of contract and debiting $2k for another 5 years of service with note that the expired contract couldn’t be cancelled with reply of email. A number to call, etc., however I alerted my financial institutions of no agreement or contract and not to process any amount, etc. SCAM, SCAM be careful.
