Recording indicates my application had been approved (No one in our household made an application or verbally requested information on any loan for any purpose or amount).
Option to Press 1 to get my loan or Press 9 to decline.
Unknown if scammer would have sought money up-front or how this scam would work:
a) loan in my name where I never saw the money?
b) loan in my name and money received less significant fees and handling charges?
c) something else that may not have been honest?

Recording acted like a person asking , "oh, didn’t know you were there. You stayed at our resort…". At this point I hung up. I heard about a scam that when you say yes on the phone they can use it for some purpose to charge back, I believe this is one of those since the recording did not identify the company. This just happened at 6:51pm est. I will monitor my accounts to see if anything is charged back.

Received today a phone call stating that the IRS is in the process of suing me that I need to call this number (352) 64`-0982, that someone will assist me. I hung up yet a message was left on my answering machine (cell phone.)
