Type of a scam Online Purchase
I asked the website owner, Daniel Moore, if I could purchase a Corgi puppy. His website says one can text him or email him, but he doesn’t respond until really late at night. After he replied to me at 11 am, he sent me some automated messages that greeted me and that displayed him as a caring, knowledgeable breeder. In this same email, he asks me a couple of questions to verify that I am able to take care of a dog and will do so properly. Then he asked me if I would like the dog the same week I contacted him or the next. I asked for the same week, which he responded with my payment options (by the way, he also offered free shipping for the Corgi, which was also only $600). My payment options were the following three: wire transfer from Walmart to Walmart, Money-gram, or Western Union, which are all payment options widely used by scammers because it is easy to fake ones identity to retrieved the wired money. Then, when I told him I was not comfortable with this, he called me rude and ended the deal. He never responded to me afterwards.
