Type of a scam Tax Collection
Computer recorded msg is left on the my answering machine stating that, they are from the department of treasury and that they are calling regards to the tax fraud and tax invasion that I have committed. The msg also states that If I choose to ignore this msg, I could be arrested and that it is entirely up to me to take care of this matter. I have no clue to what this scammers purpose is but clearly it is causing lots of heart achs and anxiety for me and who knows how many others.
