I was having a problem with my Yahoo! email account. I wasn’t getting recent emails. Somehow, a found a phone number that advertised itself as Yahoo! technical support. Unfortunately, I granted the person on the phone access to my computer and he did resolve my problem, but he also claimed that I had been hacked and that I needed all sorts of software that I don’t think I needed. They overcharged me a ridiculous amount of $449.99 on their invoice ***.
I refuse to pay this bill.
