A man claiming to be a law enforcement officer called to tell me I had an active warrant and needed to pay $1,000 to clear my name. He was pushy and insistent that I go to a grocery store immediately and purchase a money order to clear my name and take my warrant down from active to inactive. I called the Sherrif’s department after I was finally able to get in a word with the, "deputy.", no such warrants!
