Type of a scam Phishing
I knew about these scams, but still got taken in. In this case, the caller (in retrospect, I assume it was a computer) spoke very quickly. I asked them to repeat what was said because I didn’t catch it. Then they said something else I didn’t catch and then said, "Can you hear me now?" Thinking this was in response to my having said I couldn’t hear them, I replied "sure." I realized immediately what just happened, so I then said, "no, thank you, I’m not interested" and hung up. I did catch some wording about they needed some information from me so that I could claim a cruise or something similar to that.
I’m writing this next part here because I don’t see any other place to include this information:
Regarding did I lose money? Not yet, but I’m reporting this immediately after the call happened.
Regarding did the scammer attempt to take money? I don’t know but I have to assume so.

Type of a scam Travel/Vacations
I received a call from a lady voice who introduced herself, then there was a brief pause and the voice said I’m sorry I was trying to get my headset on, can you hear me? I said "yeah" and she started the pitch. She said I had won a vacation and at that point I hung up remembering about the scam, but by then I knew it was too late.
