a person from Debt Restoration Services contacted me to let me know that I was being sued for the past due interest on a payday loan that I have already paid off. when I told them that I had paid it off already, they claimed that I probably had been paying a fraudulent company for the debt I owed and was ripped off. the manager then came on the phone and actually yelled at me and told me that I needed to give them my checking account information immediately or else the paperwork would be forwarded to my local courthouse.
