Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief
So I received a mail claiming that the company received a settlement from JP Morgan in the amount of 16481 and would help reduce my debt. Also claims to work with Bank of America, Visa card, Discover, Capital One, American Express, and Wells Fargo. I did not to my knowledge have been told about a settlement nor agreed to one. I contacted Capital One and they were not aware of any settlement or debt reduction by the company that sent me the mailer.
