Targeting companies and people in the IT industry. Registration for vendor space or event entry is accomplished with a non-secure credit card payment process. There is a phone number and people who pick up to answer questions, send a vendor contract, and perpetuate the fraud. When a credit card is provided is is charged many times over the following days. The Boston Hotels/Conference Center listed that was to be are hosting the event has no such event on the dates provided and anything to do with Disaster Conferences. They report multiple calls and complaints.
