Type of a scam Rental
Searching for housing in Victoria and came across an ad on Craigslist: https://victoria.craigslist.ca/apa/6555851784.html Landlord stated he was from the united states, both him and his wife are missionaries. They required me to fill out a brief application form containing my address, marital status, employment, how long I planned to rent etc. No exchange of money or bank information was given. However landlord replied within the next hour accepting my application and willing to send the documents and key to the apartment in the mail.
