Representative from this paving company goes door to door soliciting paving contracts. They demand 50% deposit up front and then will not do the work. They give excuse after excuse as to why they can’t come when promised. 3 weeks later they still haven’t come to pave the driveway and they no longer answer our phone calls. Police have been contacted and they believe this to be a scam operation. If you search online they are non existent. They state they are affiliated with Scorpion paving out of Nova Scotia. The owner of scorpion paving has confirmed they have been using his companies name for a few years scamming people but is not affiliated with his business. When asked if he has contacted the police, he said that he has not. If it sounds like a bargain that’s too good to be true it probably is. This scam has taken $1000.
