Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

While looking at ads on facebook marketplace I saw a to good to be true deal on a pontoon. Responded to ad and a person said to contact my sister. Donna Gilbert, by text so I did. Subsequently I called the text number that went directly to voice mail and with in moments i received an email to to respond to her by email. I did and she or it proceeded to send more information on the pontoon boat for sale including many pictures.

So now the story of my husband died 3 months ago; i am in training for deployment; need to sell quickly; that’s why a low price; i have made arrangements for delivery; no other chargers, etc.. And although the ad was shown for the unit to be in Madison Wisconsin area, i was informed it was in Flint Michigan. Was informed, never by phone, that to protect us she/it was going to use ebay to process the transaction. Subsequently I received an invoice and how to proceed. Purchase ebay cards at Walgreens, scratch off the numbers, photo the cards and send to email. Warning sign. So I called a "if questions number" where foreign speaking gentleman", who appeared to be a one man show, tried to answer my questions, posing as Ebay customer service. Could not and had all kinds of excuses. Went back to seller by email and tried to call her again. No answer although I did receive another email, unprompted, that she is an honorable person and can be trusted. Oh Boy. Gotta be a scan!
