I listed a car on Facebook Marketplace and Craiglist ads, listing my phone number as the means of contact. I received a text from someone with the above phone number (non-SC number) about the car. They asked what day this week/weekend was best to view it, then requested a background report from "http://beepbeepreports.com" and wanted the report sent to their email address above. I did not recognize the website, so I checked a list of certified car reporting companies and it is not listed. I did not click the link, so I do not know more about the website, but it sounded like it would cost money for a report and would request secure information such as title info.
