Type of a scam Tech Support
In Nov 2017, received a scam message stating that I have virus on my computer and to contact WIN SECURITY SYSTEMS n.k.a. DREAM TECH, LLC. Win Security Systems stated if I purchase a Webroot Secure Anywhere Security Software for $199.99 for a 3-year subscription should resolve the problem thinking that this tech company was legitimate. Check the Webroot website and discovered that you can get a 1-year Basic Antivirus Protection for $39.99 for 1 device. Now, a CSR pretentious name of Bella Evans (an Indian young woman based on her accent NOT Native American pretending to be Filipina) stated that I owe DREAM TECH, LLC f.n.a. WIN SECURITY SYSTEMS about $4,000 and needs to be paid now in full wherein the $199.99 I paid to Win Security Systems was just a registration fee. However, such was not reflected on the email invoice Win Security Systems sent me, but instead stated “Security Software for 3 years.” I called the phone numbers of Win Security Systems from the email invoice I received to clarify the situation and the phone numbers are no longer valid. Continuing my conversation with this persistent-cynical-condescending/intimidating Bella Evans of Dream Tech, LLC (whom I believe is a pretentious name) stated she will add $1,200 penalty fee to the amount of about $4,000 and threatened to turn me over to their legal counsel. When I told her go ahead to turn me over to their lawyer since I don’t have that kind of money to pay them being on disability, as well as thinking that this must be a SCAM in the manner of such persistence. Then, she decided to reduce the amount to $500 and to mail the payment to DREAM TECH, LLC @ 6230 Wilshire Blvd (Suite 150), Los Angeles, CA 90048. Thereafter, Bella Evans constantly kept calling from the phone number of 1.800.730.6232 showing on my phone as a SPAM RISK. I checked the phone number the White Pages and stated that 1.800.730.6232 is a SCAM or FRAUD. I checked the Better Business Bureau website regarding Win Security Systems n.k.a. Dream Tech, LLC and received complaints about the same scenario that happened to me about Dream Tech LLC. I would imagine, the name was changed to Dream Tech, LLC due to such complaints for the information they had about me was from Win Security Systems. I checked Dream Tech, LLC with the Better Bureau website and discovered that they are not an accredited company with the Better Business Bureau.
