Type of a scam Online Purchase
The scammer is saying that they have English bulldog puppies AKC registered and that they care about them so they are selling them at a cheaper price (in my case $600 and $100 shipment). Then they email you and have you answer questions like where you live and if you are ready for a puppy because they don’t want them to be put in shelters or abandoned. They say that they get a discount on shipping and you just pay $100 more dollars than the price of the puppy for them to make arrangements to ship them to your home. Then they have a contract you sign which is very detailed and basically just makes you think they are legit. Then they have you cash app them the money so they can make the traveling arrangements for the puppy. After that they send you an email saying they didn’t have the right crate for the flight and that you need to rent it through their traveling person. So the traveling person emails and says you need to pay $980 for the crate and then once the puppy gets to your home you will get $950 reimbursed. They want you to western union or money gram the $980 to a certain person in Wilmington NC. So that’s when I said I didn’t have that much money for a crate and just wanted refunded and tried to ask if we could just come get the puppy in person and they won’t respond now. I don’t want anyone else to get hurt like this because my kids were really excited about getting a puppy.
