Type of a scam Debt Collections
The call came in under an UNKNOWN caller. Should have been my 1st. clue of a scam. Why wouldn’t a legit business want you to know who they are??? You answer an incoming call from this number (740)224-1439-Graysville, Ohio and at first it’s a recording using scare tactics. Telling me that I must dial 1 and hold on the line to avoid legal action. A person comes on the phone and states my name. He knows my date of birth, social security number, married name, physical and mailing address. I try and cut him off to ask WHO/WHAT COMPANY he is representing. He becomes agitated and rude. Proceeds to tell me that he will take legal action against me. Somewhere in there he states something about Wells Fargo Credit Card account…to which I do not have. I believe this to be a scam.????
It’s scary to know these people have my personal information!!!
