They called saying I was one of 1500 people chosen to receive a 9,000 grant and that I could receive the money western union or by checking. I chose western union! Well then they tell me I need to call back this number 989-382-3049 to get the details of where I need to go to pick the money up! So I call back and then they proceed to tell me I need to purchase a $200 eBay card to receive the money! I told them to go to hell!

HELLO I WAS SCAMMED ON 6/13/2016 8;44 A.M. MY PHONE RING IT WAS A LADY ON THE OTHER END,SHE STATED THAT SHE WAS FROM THE IRS TAXES AND THAT I OUR THEM $2800.00 AND IF I DONT PAID IT NOW THE POLICE WILL BE HERE TO ARREST ME WITHIN 30 MINS.. THEN SHE PUT ME ON HOLD,,THEM A MAN GOT ON THE PHONE AND SAID I WAS IN ALOT OF TROUBLE.. SO I WENT TO MY BANK AND GOT $I,000.00 CASH OUT…THEN I WENT TO CVS STORE AND GOT 2 ITUNES CARDS AT $500.00 DOLLARS EACH ,,,,WHEN BACK TO MY BANK AND GOT$800.00 CASH MORE AND WEN TO WALGREENS STORE GOT 2 ITUNES CARDS ,,,I TALK WITH *** FROM ITUNES CORP. SHE SAID YES I GET MY MONEY BACK BUT IT WILL BE AROUND 4 MONTH S OR SO….I TRY TO CALL HER AT 1 877 388 0879 EX 51291 SHE WILL NOT CALL ME BACK.OR NOTING…SHE KNOW THAT I WAS SCAM……NO CALL AT ALL….

I received a call from 404-400-4950 10:09AM EST stating that they were the US Dept of treasury and I was being going to be arrested due to a tax debt from 2012 and 2013. The girl stated that her name was Cheryl Martin and after I ask for more information she put another guy on the phone and he was extremely rude . he wanted me to make some type of arrangements for the debt. I insist on more information and he got even ruder. The call was really scary , they continue to call my cell phone with these threats. I finally blocked the number once I did the research and found out that this is defiantly fraudulent.

Call was from a woman who immediately asked for my name, I didn’t give and proceeded to ask for hers. She gave her name stating she was from the Federal Treasury..when asked why she was calling from a number outside D.C. area, she stated that she was calling from NYC..I then challenged that and she hung up. I called the number back several times and got a different person each time, and each called ended in same result – they hung up on me as soon as I questioned them.

The caller ( with a heavy *** accent) is telling me that he is with the US Treasury and that it is imperative that I pay money owed to the IRS or I will go to jail. I hung up. They called three total times. When I went to 411.com and put their phone number in to check reverse phone data, it said it was a " level 3 communications landline in Vedra Beach FL." I called the number and they r answering the phone "dept of Treasury". I know this is a scam because I don’t owe any money and my IRS office is in OH.
