Type of a scam Online Purchase
I was initially contacted by text message that said if I did a survey that I would receive a $100 gift card for Amazon. I took survey & then it took me to a site with 5 or 6 items I could choose for free, just pay shipping. So I chose item & filled out information to pay for shipping. I was tricked into buying something else when I clicked on the proceed to check out button but just saw it as a $5 loss & didn’t think twice about it. Until 2 weeks later when my card notified me that 2 transactions were denied for insufficient funds. One for $95 & another for $94. These items were supposed to be free.
