Type of a scam Employment
I saw the listing for a virtual office assistant job on google, and I was searching for work at home jobs so that’s why it popped up. It was for the company "Dream Big Home Inspections, LLC", and I researched them before I applied and everything and they have a really nice website and a Facebook page with lots of reviews and posts and it just seemed very real. All I had to do was email them my resume, and not long after did they email me back that they wanted to offer me the job.
They said they’ll send me a check for about $2,500 for the software and printer needed to do the job and for first weeks pay of $400 (kinda fishy), and a couple days later I got a text saying they shipped the check out and will be to me in about a week.
Not until today did I Facebook message the REAL Courtney from Dream Big Home Inspections, LLC and ask her if it’s real or not. She informed me that it is a scam and they’re not offering anyone a job. Wish I would’ve done that sooner!!
