I have Alex W******* calling MY FAMILY and I saying there is a legal matter pending against me. That he needs her information and mines, also said he needs to speak with me or my legal representative – that he has my social security number. Before this a person by the name of of Javier Figuerora also called me to warm me that I will be served papers and that i only had one day to call him or someone will be coming to my home to serve me papers. Then I stated that I did not have a job and he was rude and said that i need to pau and that i should stop lying about not having a job. Then he threaten me and said I will call your employer to make sure they take the money out of my checks. All this threats are not okay and calling my FAMILY is worse.I’m sure that when you serve someone in CA you should be delivering a summons. I believe you don’t call the person’s family or the person you are attempting to sue with a voicemail saying you have their social security number and my name on a file. It is BEYOND unprofessional. You don’t just call someone and start demanding. Expecting people to bend over and call you back without actually saying WHAT company you are calling from, and WHAT the allegations are for.

Alex was the last person I spoke with on 8/4/2020 and I was going to make payment arrangements and then I surged their company and found out that they threaten people and scam for money. I called him back to asked for official letters and receipts of who they are and what they have of mine and he was like we do not do this i can tell you over the phone but i will not send you anything and he finally the rudeness came out of him and he treaten me by saying either you pay or I am fowarding your paperwork then he hung up on me.

Got a call on 02/18/20 that said "unknown number" and a lady left a very threatening voice message. They had my name, an address that I have never lived at, and then gave vague information a legal matter for someone that I don’t even know and said they were going to serve papers to me. The threatening lady left the phone number of 833-965-5226, which didn’t come up in any Google search. I had just hung up from the voice mail, and my office phone rang. I have no idea how they got that information! The same voice asked for me and then started spewing the same vague information, and still using the same address where I had never lived, and referencing legal documents for someone that I don’t even know. The lady got really hostile and nasty when I asked her what her scam was. I asked her for information about this vague "legal proceeding", and she said that it was private and sealed information. I then asked her why they would serve me with someone else’s legal information to me if it was private. Her response was that this unknown person had listed me as someone to handle their legal matters. Sure…that sounds genuine. She then started asking for my personal information, which I declined to give her. She then started calling me a liar and started threatening that she was "going to find you!" I asked her what she planned to do when she found me, and she repeated that she was going to serve legal papers. I asked her if she would like directions to where I am, and asked her if I should meet her in the lobby. She did’t care for that question, either. She just kept saying "I’ll find you, you liar!" over and over again. She finally got sick of repeating herself and hung up. I’m still not sure what the purpose of this was, but I’ve warned everyone I know about it.

I don’t answer numbers I don’t know. These people keep calling and leaving a completely different number to call back the message they leave says I need to call them with in 24 hours or I will suffer legal consequences, I have not called the number back, and when I block it they just call back from a different number leaving the same message.

Received a voicemail from am already previously blocked number. Caller knew my full name but never stated name of their organization. Just that she was Cynthia and handling my file with an urgent message that I reply in regards to a possible complaint (I don’t own a business..?) And I must reply to the number I posted to speak with the firm handling my "file " and gave me a case id number to refer to when calling. No firm name given. Just 855-472-2323. No details. I did not return the call. I have no legal cases anywhere against me for any reason. Definitely some type of scam.

These phone #’s have called me 6-10 times over the past 48 hours. I answered the first couple times as they called back to back, without any answer on the other end. I’ve since ignored the calls and they leave voice messages stating that "(An inaudible person or company) has a federal warrant out for my arrest and to call back the #’s they leave.

My wife is also getting the same calls on a regular basis.

Got a phone call from 607-595-1436. I don’t answer unknown phone calls. They left a message claiming there are 4 law suits against me by law enforcement and they are coming to get me and I need to call them back right away. I deleted the message. there are other victims saying the caller tried to get their information. It can be scary, especially for people who are less confident about such things like new immigrants, elderly or young students.

I was sent a letter to my home with no name or address. Says I have over $19,000.00 of unsecured debt. It says I "have been selected by our Management Division and are now eligible to resolve this debt."

"Reduction of total debt to: $6,732."

It says also "Failure to respond may affect your legal right"

I called the number 1-866-597-5872 and gave them the "Processing Number on the letter ***" the person then wanted my name. I said you tell me my name and she said my first name. She then wanted my phone number and I refused she said she was just the answering service and could not assist me except to transfer my call. When I told her she was working for scammers who were trying to steal money she hung up.

On the bottom of the letter it listed a bunch of credit cards that have adjusted their lending policies "with the implementation of the Credit Card Accountability, Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009. I contacted all my cards that were listed and they all put an alert on my cards and one recommended I contact BBB. I just purchase this new home in 2016. Maybe that is how they got my address.
