Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes
Received phone call saying that I won over $500,000 and that Protector and Gamble would take care of the IRS taxes. The caller identified himself as Kevin Crawford. He stated that you shouldn’t have to pay money to get money. He also said I was to call Peter Miller from Bank of America at 646-921-6839 with claim number 5225. The money would be delivered tomorrow by courier.
I received a similar call a couple of months ago, but did not do anything about it.
