Type of a scam Rental
I received an email and It had my landlords name and it asked that I deposit my rent into a Bank of America. I did as the email said as I had rented from my landlord over 7 years and would have never questioned him. He calls me yesterday to see why I have not paid this months rent. Come to find out he never sent that email and he does not know the person on that bank account. I went to the bank but all they can do is do an investigation but can not release any information before or after the investigation as I’m not on that account.
