Type of a scam Debt Collections
The lady said that I owed CashNet $700 which is a loan place. I’ve never had a loan from CashNet. She knew the last four digits of my social. She knew my old address and my recent one.She said I worked at a place I haven’t worked at in over 10 years. I asked her to send me a letter of validation of debt..( which I know I do think owe because I’ve never had a loan) she continue to argue with me saying that it was too late to send a letter. If I didn’t settle now she would be sending my information in Montgomery County Courts and I would be sued for $2,000. She gave me a call back number and extension number called back no one answered and there was no answering machine with company name. It just said mailbox full. So with all that being said I called Cash Net customer service and told them what was going on just to make sure someone really wasn’t using my information and as I thought no loans have been made. Beware of this Cardinal Services +1-877-279-3160 pretty sure they’re fraudulent and the lady is very rude.
