Type of a scam Debt Collections
Received multiple calls with messages left leaving invoice numbers for "past due accounts". I called the 800 number they left, refusing to give my name. They claim to have sent emails re: amount due, but I haven’t received emails because I haven’t used the company. Obviously a scam. Everyone I spoke to had heavy foreign accents. Right after I called the 800 number to report them having the wrong number & ask that they stop calling, I started getting 5 plus calls per day from new scam/telemarketing numbers. 6 weeks later I’m getting more calls from YRC Freight with different invoice numbers on accts overdue. Same story different scammer.
