Type of a scam Debt Collections

This company has called me repeatedly stating I have an outstanding PayDay loan from 2011. The threaten legal action, liens against property, wage garnishments, extremely rude and overly threatening. I have asked repeatedly for printed documentation and they REFUSE to send anything telling me I will see it when I am served. I have asked to speak with supervisors to try to get confirmation of the alleged debt and get the same answer "they are the supervisor" Their harassing and threatening demeanor is over the top. At this point I am not sure what to do otheer than not answer their calls. Core Resolutions supposedly representing Manhattan Processing a pay day loan originator

Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

In 2007, I received a payday loan and paid it off the next paycheck. Now 10 years later, I’m being harassed by different companies that are trying to tell me that I didn’t pay the money back. The calls started in 2016 and I’ve been called back repeatedly over the last 6 months by this company trying to collect $385.00. The company that I received the loan from has since gone out of business, and never contacted me again. All of a sudden I start receiving these phone calls about a loan that I paid back. I’ve no record of paying it back due to the fact that I only keep my financial records for up to 7 years. I’m hoping that someone can shed some light on this matter, I think its a scam, but they are making me wonder what’s going on?

Total money lost $250

Type of a scam Debt Collections

I was contacted by a Jackson Blakely from Core Resolutions collecting on behalf of Gateway Holdings per the caller he was the specialist handling my account. Stated I had taken out a payday loan for $800 and that funds were deposited into my PNC bank account. I explained that I did not have $800 he said the company would accept a settlement of $500 in two installments of $250. When I asked for the company’s address since I could see they were calling from a Washington, DC location per caller ID, it was not given also they would not give any information on the original creditor. I get a phone number of 240-387-6825 ext 30110 and per Jackson his supervisor was Laura Bailey. This is a scam! I didn’t start investigating this debt until after I let them draw money out of my account. I went to PNC Bank and the rep did not see a deposit from that company in their records for any of my bank accounts, the account number that Jackson gave me saying the funds were deposited into is not a PNC bank account number!
