Accepted a job offer to buy IT/phone/labtops and then ship to addresses. Asked to use my own credit cards for purchases, once the charges were cleared/reimbursed for all purchases; then I would ship to a particular address. Promise of salary in the amount of $3800 every two weeks along with other company benefits and even a office setup. About two weeks later after credit card was reimbursed for purchases, received unauthorized notice that the payment from Monro F&L was no good. I lost about $10,000 with no compensation for my time. All purchase items are shipped. I was dumb, stupid and did not recognize the signs that this was fraudulent. Greed got in the way as I thought this would be a good way to supplement my retirement in the coming years.
