Guy called and said that my granddaughter had been in an accident, was arrested and put in jail, and they wanted me to send $9650.00 for her bail.

The scammer tried to claim a property that was for sale by a real estate co., and make it as if the property was for rent for a much lesser price. He would not speak over the phone, and claimed to be out of town and couldn’t meet at the property. He also demanded money and in turn we would receive keys and the property would be held. He seemed to be in a hurry collecting funds, and things just didn’t seem legitimate based on my assumptions and the obvious.
