Type of a scam Debt Collections
They are calling different people that I know and also myself. Telling me that I owe $1200 on a Mastercard Credit Card. Which I knew right off the bat was a scam. I’ve never had a credit card of any kind. They had my full social right which is really scary. I was advised that if I didn’t take care of the matter of the phone they would be taking me to court. I said "go for it, take me to court’ They lady on the phone didn’t say anything for a few seconds and then said, " well thats just stupid, you could just pay the amount and not have to go to court". I hung up after that.
