Type of a scam Online Purchase

I had used the tech support service last year, they indicated that I had a refund due of $*** and connected with my computer to return my funds and wire them into my account. They then took over my account and indicated that they transferred &*** which they couldn’t return or complete unless I returned the funds to them, $*,*** (I could keep the $***.) I was sent to Best Buy, Walmart and Apple Store to purchase these gift cards, (which I did like a stupid [censored]). Walmart, stopped payment on a $*** gift card due to suspected fraud.

I then got a series of threatening calls, texts, and emails treating to take over my bank account and removing money from it, if I didn’t return their money and unfreeze the account.

They also gave me another address:Asia Headquarters *7* Tras Street, Union Building *79*2*, Sinagapore

I am out $*** because I fell for a stupid scam. By the way, they indicate that the ScamPulse.com has approved this refund and use ScamPulse.com logo when they get into the bank account to make this false deposit.

Type of a scam Tech Support

Box pops up on computer screen every time you try to use computer with a 1 800 number with your internet providers name and Microsoft. Call this number to fix problem. So I called number and they with your permission will remote in and show you the problem and then they will tell you what it will cost to fix. I agreed to the amount they fixed my computer problem. The next day they call you back and tell you they couldn’t fix the problem and would give me a refund. Once they remote back in they give you 3 choices for the money to be refunded your bank account, Pay/Pal or western union, by this time warning bells were going off they didn’t want to refund they wanted more money they had already locked my computer and said if I didn’t pay I would not be able to use my computer because they changed sign in password just to get on the computer. So after they cussed me out I called my bank to have charges reversed( haven’t received yet) and called a reliable Microsoft tech. It took me all night with the tech but I have the use of my computer back. I lost all files but that’s ok I guess I can start over.

Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief

This is the fifth time I have been contacted by this company. One rep said they are located in Carson, NV. One phone number is 701 622 3219. The other phone number is 844 313 7979 by Lisa at Live Tech. This has been going on for months. I was caught in a scam for $300.00 called my credit card company which is taking care of the charge for me.They want to access my computer remotely so they can take vital information off of it. They are relentless liars. They will engage you in conversation that circles around and around even if I say I will report them, that I want to be taken off their call list etc. This is a serious invasion of my home life. Can you get them to stop?

Oh, they also mentioned Microsoft and their disconnect with the company whereby they must take off their software from my computer (Miscrosoft software).
