Yorkshire Pawsible

Thinking the others maybe just had a bad experience I decided to contact them regarding a puppy. At first they were very nice and helpful but as I continued to ask questions and request pics of the puppy with her in the background and they sent a different pup things took a quick turn. When they only accept Zelle or PayPal or another immediate payment I became suspicious and ask for adopter references. At that point I was told they’re tired of my questions and if I don’t trust them to look elsewhere. Keep in mind I’m told the puppy is in Colorado and I’m in PA. Thats a lot of trust with no proof this puppy exists. The last message was that someone just put a deposit on the one I wanted. They couldn’t even keep track of which one I wanted. SCAM SCAM SCAM!

Type of a scam Online Purchase

My Dad wanted to buy a puppy for my mom and found a website www.yorkshirepawsible.com IP address **************

He spoke with ******* **** on the phone and via email. [email protected] and [email protected] My Dad felt confident that all was legit. Arrangements were to ship the puppy the next day after payment. I was not aware until after the transaction that ******* **** had redirected my Dad’s preferred credit card payment option to *****. My Dad’s bank had a maximum of $500 so he asked me if I could pay the $180 difference and he would reimburse me. After receiving payment from us the contact phone number was disconnected (714) 454-2138 and new emails were received asking for more money to buy a different crate. Still no confirmation about puppy delivery just more delays and more options to purchase more misleading product.

The business address on the website is **** ********* *****, **********, Alabama ***** The address connected to the phone number is *** * ******* **, ****** CO *****

The ***** Pay option is way too easy to use in our bank accounts. There is no checks or forewarning prior to making your first transaction. Only after making this transaction I found that ***** and the Banks associated with using this app state that they are not responsible for any transactions using this app. In my research about this app, I found that the banks are the ones together with ***** Pay that came up with this app to make transferring money between family members simple and with the added benefit that they will not be liable for any fraud.

After calling my bank to report this they told me that this is a common scam. Too bad they do not assist in helping customers to beware by adding a potential scam alert section to the online accounts.
