I kept getting a phone call saying that my credit card was going to be charged $399 if I didn’t cancel. When I pressed 1 to talk to someone they said I purchased pc help with them 3 years ago and I needed to cancel or I could get refunded $199 as well or I would be charged $399. He only knew my name and phone number. Said they had emailed me but they hadn’t and he couldn’t tell me my email or any other of my information and tried to go around it. They couldn’t cancel unless I was on a computer for them to help me through it. I knew it was a scam because 1. I didn’t purchase this 3 years ago, 2. They only had my name and number. 3. When they called it came up as unknown or 0000000000 (why hide your number) 4. They wanted me to cancel on my computer 5. I knew they would be wanting my card number to "refund " me or "cancel" me. 5. They said the name of the company backwards several times.
