Type of a scam Government Grant
Received a message on facebook from one of my church members saying that I was selected to receive a government grant from the Workers Compensation Appeal Board. They said that I had won $70,000 and needed to send them $1,200. So I told her that I didn’t have that amount and she said I could send $300. I later sent the $900 but for some reason it didn’t go through and she had me to send it again from CVS through Western Union. This did not go through either. I actually spoke with my church member and she told me that I wasn’t her and that someone else had told her they received the same message.
