These people called me stating they had legal papers to deliver to my daughter (gave me her name) where she was named in a civil law suit. Then when I started questioning them she said that they needed to talk to her and they could give her all the information and if she didn’t call they would pursue a lawsuit. (isn’t that what they told me was already done??). I called back stating I was representing her (to what capacity they didn’t know lol) and wanted to know what county this suit was filed in and they wouldn’t tell me even that. That’s when they gave me a fax number asking to send my letter of representation which was a Las Vegas number. My daughter hasn’t been near Vegas at any part of her life! Also I work in the legal field and have for 20 years and you don’t call people and tell them you have a summons or legal papers where they are named in a suit. If they are going to be served, they just do it because they have your address info already for service AND you don’t call relatives lol. You would be served by a process server or the sheriff’s dept. Also be aware that the case number they gave me DOES NOT MATCH with any county near us and you have to be sued and served in the county in which you live so check it out people! Don’t give out ANY information, no SSN, no address, NOTHING! And if you can, mask your number when calling with *67.
