Type of a scam Debt Collections
Caller stated he is from a collection agency and I need to pay my acct. with Victoria’s Secret. He wanted my credit card and financial info. I refused to give that, and called the ScamPulse.com to see if this is a legitimate company. My ScamPulse.com rep informed me that they have no file for a company by the name of Weinberg Mediation Group, LLC. The address given is 3380 Sheridan Dr., Amherst, N Y 14226, which is a UPS store. Apparently this business was incorporated in the State of N Y on 10/21/16, with a registered agent’s name of Jerry Verhagen. Interestingly enough, there is another collection agency at that address by the name of DOC Servicing, Inc., which may or may not be operated by the same principals.
