I purchased 4 tickets to a ‘Haunted Booze Cruise’ in Seattle for Halloween in September. A couple days later, I received email saying that the cruise had been cancelled, and I would be issued a full refund. After multiple attempts to get resolution from them, they no longer even reply. It’s been almost 2 months now, and I still have not received a refund, and can no longer get any response from anyone.

there was an event on facebook for a Pittsburgh booze cruise the ad said that it was $60 a person to go on this ship and that money provided food, open bar and the cruise. all the proceeds were supposed to go to the ASPCA. the company Wayback Entertainment was the company that was having the event. so i went and purchased tickets online i made 3 different transactions one for $450.52, $257.44 and $64.36 so that all my family and friends could go. the next day i get an alert on facebook saying that the cruise was cancelled due to there was mechanical issues with the ship that was providing the cruise. so i get 3 different emails from ticketbud telling me that that money was going to be refunded to me within 3-5 business days. so then the next day i get a different email saying sorry it will take up to 10 business days to get the refund. so i waited and when i didn’t see the funds i called the ticketbud company and they told me that they are just a promotion company and that they use a 3rd party company to refund money. so they sent me an email saying that the 3rd party company is a company called stripe and they sent me a link to go to. i went to that site and they had me answer some questions about my purchase so i answered them and it told me that i had to contact wayback entertainment because i was charged by them. so when i tried to look wayback entertainment up online i could not find a phone number or anything about the company except all the other events that they were advertising. so i went on the BBB web site and found a company called wayback entertainment located in Portland OR with a phone number so i called this company the owner spencer williams explained to me that someone is using his company name to scam people out of money and that i should contact the BBB to try to get this problem handled.
