Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I have had a person text me asking if I would be interested in doing a car wrap advertisement for "ViVi Milk". I gave them my car model, and my address, where they could send me my first payment in order to be paid then I was to send the remaining balance via money gram to the person supposed to come to my location to wrap my car. Once they send this check which comes to you in a priority mail package that included a tracking number. Once it arrived to my house they texted me and told me it was at my house, and they constantly harass you to DEPOSIT this $1900 check into your nearest atm? I’m thinking they meant my bank account. I told them numerous times I don’t have a bank account to deposit it into and that I would only be able to cash it. They then kept texting me over and over to see if it has been cashed or deposited. I have not been responding since the next number started texting me. Also, on the check they had two locations listed, Cason Fitzgerald & Co in Dallas tx well I looked that address up and it registered to a sandwich shop, then the bank it supposedly came from was listed as a doctors office. I have just decided to stop responding and shred the check. I believe they are wanting to do a wire transfer bank account scam. So I’m shredding the check so it won’t be cashed.
