Consumer had message pop up on computer screen, stating that his computer was infected. After not being able to shut down computer, he called the number 877-663-9441. He spoke with someone by the name of Sky Wilson who stated they were with Microsoft Tech Support. The consumer gave the representative remote access to his computer. The representative stated there had a number of viruses, and said he’d have to pay $200. The consumer gave access to the rep for six hours and then gave him his credit card information. The next day, the consumer received a call from the same person, stating that they needed to refund him, and wired the money to his account. They asked him to open up his bank account information and confirm it was there. The rep had wired $2,000 "accidentally", and wanted the consumer to go buy iTunes gifts cards with the overage amount.
